When Hans-Beat’s friend turned 60, his wife bought him an Oris Louis Armstrong Limited Edition. The year was 1999. Hans-Beat and his friend had known each since their school days and had been playing in jazz bands together since they were teenagers. The Louis Armstrong Limited Edition was the perfect watch. Hans-Beat’s friend passed away in 2007. He and his wife were adamant that Hans-Beat should have the watch and keep wearing it as a symbol of their enduring friendship and their love of jazz. Recently, Hans-Beat returned the watch to us to be restored. It’s back with him now, but this film tells its heart-warming story.
